The Link in Bio editor is where you build the page visitors see at pinned.gg/your-handle. You set up your profile, add links and elements, choose a look, and publish. It's included on every plan.

Open the editor

  1. In the sidebar, click Link in Bio.
  2. Along the top, switch between the three tabs.

Some options on these tabs need the Creator plan. The guides say which.

The preview of your page stays on the right as you work. If your window is narrow, the preview is hidden, so widen the window to see it.

Until you publish for the first time, a short setup card at the top of the Links tab can walk you through the steps to go live. You can hide it from the card.

Leave the editor

On a larger screen, click Back to Home at the left of the top bar. On a phone, that button isn't shown. Use the bottom menu to go back instead.

On a narrow window, the top bar's buttons, such as Publish changes, move to a second row. On a phone, the tabs scroll sideways if they don't all fit.

Edit your profile

Your profile is the card at the top of the Links tab.

  1. On the Links tab, find the profile card with your picture, name and bio.
  2. To change your picture, click it (the small pencil icon sits on its corner) and choose an image. Pinned crops it to a square.
  3. To change your display name, click the pencil icon next to your name, type the new name, then press Enter or click outside the field.
  4. To change your bio, click the pencil icon next to it, type your text, then click outside the field. If the bio is empty, the card shows “Add a bio…”.

You can also edit your profile from the preview. Click your picture there to upload a new one. Click your name or bio to open an Edit profile window, change what you need, and click Done. The X icon in the corner of the window also closes it.

Add social buttons

Social buttons are the small platform icons shown under your bio.

  1. On the profile card, click Social buttons. The line under it shows how many platforms are selected.
  2. Click the platforms you want: Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Discord, X, Instagram or Kick. Each selected platform gets its own row below.
  3. In each row, type or paste your link. The hint in the field reads, for example, “Your Twitch link”.
  4. To remove a platform, click the X icon at the end of its row, or click its name again.

An icon appears on your page only once its link is filled in. If you've already saved a Twitch or Kick channel on the Connections page, that link fills in for you. See Connect Twitch and Kick.

Below the profile card, the Live now banner switch embeds your stream while you're live. See Show your stream schedule and go-live banner.

To put something on your page, click Add. Links are covered in Add and organize links, and the other page elements in Add elements to your page.

Preview your page

The preview shows your page as you edit, before anything goes live.

  1. Above the preview, click Mobile to see a phone-shaped view, or Web to see a browser view.
  2. In the Web view, click the expand icon at the right of the browser bar to see the page at full size.
  3. To leave the full-size view, click Close or press Esc.

The preview uses the look you chose for your page, not your dashboard's light or dark mode.

Publish your changes

Your edits are a draft until you publish them. Visitors keep seeing the last published version.

  1. Make your changes.
  2. At the top right, click Publish changes.
  3. Your changes are live once the button reads Published. The button stays inactive when there's nothing new to publish.

The first time you publish, a card appears to let you know your page is live.

On the Settings tab, the Save & publish button at the bottom does the same thing.

Warning

Unpublished edits are lost if you leave the editor or reload the page. Publish before you go.

Undo or discard edits

  • To take back an edit, click the arrow icon at the top right (Undo last change shows on hover). Each click steps back one change. Quick edits in a row, such as typing, count as one change.
  • To drop all unpublished edits, click Discard changes. The editor returns to your last published page. On a phone, this button isn't shown.

Open your live page

Your page lives at pinned.gg/your-handle, where the handle is the one you chose for your account.

To open it, click My page in the sidebar. On a very wide window, the top of the editor also shows My page: with your page address. Click the address to open your page in a new tab. On narrower windows, that address isn't shown there.

To change your handle, see Update your account settings.

Tips

  • A picture you upload here also becomes your account's profile picture.
  • Open your live page after publishing to check it the way a visitor sees it.
  • Changes you make to events save as soon as you make them, without Publish changes. See Add events to your page.

Troubleshooting

My changes disappeared

You left or reloaded the editor before clicking Publish changes. Unpublished edits aren't kept.

The page address at the top of the editor only shows on very wide windows. Click My page in the sidebar instead.

A social icon doesn't show on my page

Open Social buttons and check that the platform's link field isn't empty. Icons only show once a link is filled in.

Publishing says the page is too large

The message reads “This page is too large to publish (over 1 MB). Remove or shrink some photos — gallery and link images are the usual cause — and try again.” Remove or replace some large images, then publish again.

Publishing says Pinned can't be reached

The message reads “Pinned can't be reached right now, so this page can't be published yet. Your draft stays here. Try again in a moment.” Wait a moment and click Publish changes again. Stay in the editor until it works, because leaving it drops unpublished edits.

A link with an invalid address stays hidden until you fix it. See Add and organize links.
