Note
Available on the Creator and Business plans.
Before you start
- Create a post first. See Create and schedule a post.
- Connect the accounts you post to. See Connect your social accounts.
Open your scheduled posts
In the sidebar, click Scheduled. You can also go straight to Scheduled Posts.
Look at the three tabs under the page title: Scheduled, Posted and Create a Post.
Each post card shows:
- Your name and picture.
- The date and time it goes out, such as 09-14 · 6:30 PM.
- The caption.
- A badge for each platform, such as BSKY, DC or X.
- A status label.
The Scheduled tab lists upcoming posts, soonest first. Posts that failed also stay here, because they need your attention. Drafts without a time come last. If you use workspaces, the list shows only the workspace selected in the menu at the top of the page, such as Personal (all accounts).
The Open scheduler link in the top right takes you to the scheduler. When a tab has no posts, it reads Nothing here yet.
Edit a scheduled post
- On the Scheduled tab, find the post.
- Click Edit. Clicking anywhere else on the card works too.
- The page switches to the Create a Post tab with your post loaded. Change the caption, accounts, media, day or time.
- Save the post the same way you scheduled it. For the form, see Create and schedule a post.
After you save, the page returns to the list so you can see the post. A post that is publishing right now has no Edit or Delete button. Wait until it finishes.
Delete a scheduled post
- On the Scheduled tab, find the post.
- Click Delete.
- Confirm when the page asks. Deleting can't be undone.
Fix a failed post
A post that couldn't be published has a red outline and a Failed label. A red message under the caption says why. The wording comes from the platform. For example: Bluesky rejected the app password. Reconnect the account on the Connections page, then retry. If the platform gives no reason, the message reads This post couldn't be published.
On the Scheduled tab, find the post marked Failed.
Read the message to see what went wrong. If it points to a connection, open Connections and reconnect the account.
Click Fix & retry.
In the Create a Post tab, correct the post and save it.
To get rid of a failed post instead, click the trash icon next to Fix & retry.
The failed-post alert
When a post fails, a message appears on whatever dashboard page you're on. Its title is A post failed to publish, or a count such as 2 posts failed to publish when several failed. For a single post it names the post and the reason, and says you can fix the problem from your Scheduled Posts.
- Click Fix in Scheduled Posts to go to the page.
- Click Dismiss to close it.
Each failed post is announced once. It stays on the Scheduled tab until you fix or delete it.
Approve a draft
A draft is a post that isn't scheduled yet. Drafts have a dashed outline and never go out until you approve them. When you have drafts, a banner at the top of the Scheduled tab counts them.
- On the Scheduled tab, find the draft.
- Click Approve.
- Check the confirmation. It reads like Approved — it goes out 09-14 at 6:30 PM, with the date and time of your post.
If Approve is greyed out, the reason appears under the draft. A draft needs a time that's still ahead. Click Edit, pick a day and time, save, then approve it.
See where a post was published
Click the Posted tab. It lists posts that went out, newest first.
Click a post. The Published post page opens.
Under Where this was posted, find each platform you chose.
Click the link on the right to check the post live.
Each platform shows one of two labels:
- Posted: the platform confirmed the post.
- Not confirmed: Pinned didn't get a confirmation from that platform.
The link depends on the platform:
- X / Twitter and Facebook show View the post, which opens the post itself.
- Instagram, Threads and TikTok show Open your profile when Pinned knows your handle. Otherwise the link opens the platform's home page.
- Some platforms, such as Bluesky, show no link.
Use the calendar next to the list
The page also has a month calendar that shows your posts on the day they go out. Posts that went out have a ✓ in front of the time. Use the arrow icons beside the month name to move to the previous or next month.
On wide screens, the calendar sits beside the list. On narrower screens, including a laptop-sized window next to the side menu, it appears below the list instead. Scroll down to find it.
Click a scheduled post on the calendar to edit it. Click a published post to open its Published post page. For a wider view of everything you have planned, see Plan with the content calendar.
Troubleshooting
I see a message that the post was changed somewhere else
The message reads This post was changed somewhere else, so your edit wasn't saved — you're now seeing the latest version. The post was edited somewhere else first, for example on another device. Review the version now on screen and make your change again.
I can't edit or delete a post
If the post is publishing, you see This post is publishing right now — it can't be changed until it finishes. Wait a minute, then try again.
My change didn't save
If you see Couldn't reach Pinned to save this change. Check your connection and try again., the save didn't reach Pinned. Your post reopens in the editor as you wrote it. Check your connection and save again.
A post didn't delete
If you see This post couldn't be deleted. Try again., the post is still in your list. Click Delete again.
A platform says Not confirmed
Pinned didn't get confirmation from that platform. Check the platform itself. If the post isn't there, open Connections to check the account, then post again.
I see Post not found
The page says It may have been deleted, or this link is from another account. Go back to Scheduled Posts and open the post from the list.
