The Appearance tab in the Link in Bio editor controls how your page looks: how your profile is laid out, which theme it uses, how link buttons look, the font and your own colors. Use it when you want your page to match your brand.

Every option on this tab is included on every plan, Free included. Nothing here needs an upgrade.

Open the Appearance tab

  1. In the sidebar, click Link in Bio.

  2. At the top of the editor, click Appearance. On a phone, the tabs scroll sideways if they don't all fit, so swipe the row to find Appearance.

  3. Use the preview on the right to check each change. Switch between Mobile and Web to see both views.

Changes stay a draft until you publish them. See Publish your changes below.

Align your profile

Profile Alignment sets how your profile photo, display name, bio and social buttons sit at the top of your page.

  1. Under Profile Alignment, click Left aligned or Centered.
  2. Check the top of the preview.

Use a large profile picture

Large Profile Picture shows a larger photo on the left, with your display name and profile content on the right.

  1. Find the Large Profile Picture card.
  2. Click the switch on the right of the card to turn it on.
  3. To go back to the standard layout, click the switch again.

Choose a theme

A theme sets your page's background, cards, text and accent colors. Every theme is free.

  1. Under Themes, click a preset. The selected theme has a colored outline.
  2. To see more, click View More Themes. The list adds Sunset Orange, Jungle and Lavender to the first six: Dark, Light, Galaxy, Northern Lights, Ocean Blue and Midnight Purple.
  3. To collapse the list, click Show Fewer Themes.

Link style sets how your link buttons look. Each theme has its own default.

  1. Under Link style, click one of the options:
    • Theme default: the look your theme comes with.
    • Outline: outlined pills.
    • Fill: filled buttons.
  2. If you chose Outline or Fill, a color row appears, labeled Outline color or Fill color. Click the color box next to it to pick a color.
  3. To go back to the theme's own color, click Reset. It appears once you have picked a color.

With Fill, the text on the buttons switches to a light or dark color automatically so it stays readable.

To add or reorder the links themselves, read Add and organize links.

Pick a page font

The font applies to your preview and your public Link in Bio page.

  1. Scroll to Page Font.
  2. Click one of the fonts. Each shows a sample and a short description:
    • Modern: clean and versatile
    • Classic: traditional serif
    • Arcade: retro pixel style
    • Editorial: polished and expressive
    • Mono: technical and bold
    • Cyber: futuristic and digital

The selected font is highlighted. Modern is the font a page starts with.

Set your own colors

Custom colors lets you pick a color for every part of your page. Changing a color starts from the theme you have selected, so pick the closest theme first.

  1. Scroll to Custom colors.

  2. Click the color box under any of these:

    • Background
    • Cards & tiles
    • Text
    • Buttons & accents
  3. Choose a color. The color code next to the box updates, and the preview changes right away.

  4. Once you change a color, an Active badge appears next to Custom colors. It means your page uses your own palette.

To go back to a preset, click it under Themes. The Active badge goes away.

Publish your changes

  1. Check the preview in both Mobile and Web.
  2. At the top right, click Publish changes.
  3. Your changes are live once the button reads Published.

On a narrow window, the buttons at the top right may wrap to a second row. They are still there.

Tips

  • Made a change you don't like? Click the undo icon at the top right, which has the tooltip Undo last change.
  • To drop everything since your last publish, click Discard changes. It appears next to the publish button while you have unpublished edits. It isn't shown on a phone, so use a larger screen if you need it.
  • Unpublished edits don't survive leaving the editor or reloading the page. Publish before you go.
  • To learn about the rest of the editor, read Build your Link in Bio page. To change how your page shows up in search results, read Set your page's search preview and branding.
