The Stream schedule shows visitors which days you stream and when, and lets them add your streams to their calendar. The Live now banner puts your live player on your page whenever you're streaming. Use them together so fans know when to show up and can watch the moment you go live.

Before you start

  • Open the Link in Bio editor. If you haven't built your page yet, start with Build your Link in Bio page.
  • For the Live now banner, have your Twitch username or Kick username (or the channel link) ready. For more on how Pinned works with these platforms, see Connect Twitch and Kick.

Add the Stream schedule to your page

  1. In the sidebar, click Link in Bio.
  2. On the Links tab, click Add.
  3. Find Stream schedule (“Your weekly streaming days & times”) and pick it.

The Stream schedule row appears in your list. Drag it by the grip icon on its left to move it where you want it. To take it off your page, click the trash icon on its row. For more on the Add menu, see Add elements to your page.

Set your days and times

  1. On the Stream schedule row, click the pencil icon.
  2. Optional: in the heading field at the top, type a heading. The hint reads “Heading (defaults to “Stream Schedule”)”. If you leave it blank, your page shows Stream Schedule.
  3. Switch on each day you stream. The days run from Mon to Sun.
  4. Next to each day you switched on, type your start time in the time field. The hint reads “e.g. 7PM EST”. The field is greyed out until the day is switched on.
  5. Click Publish changes when you're ready. Your changes are live once the button reads Published.

Days you leave off show as Off on your page. A day that's switched on but has no time also shows Off, so add a time to every day you switch on.

Important

Your schedule stays hidden on your page, and in the preview, until at least one day is switched on. While every day is off, the editor shows a notice that says so.

What visitors get: add to calendar

Under your schedule, visitors see two buttons:

  • Google opens Google Calendar with a repeating weekly event covering all your streaming days.
  • Apple downloads a calendar file with one repeating weekly event per streaming day. Open it in Apple Calendar or any calendar app that reads these files.

Each event lasts three hours. The event is named after your display name, for example “Ava Reyes live stream”.

Tips for times

  • Write times like 7PM or 7:30 PM. A time with no AM or PM counts as PM. If a time can't be read, the calendar buttons use 7 PM.
  • The calendar buttons read the hour and minutes, not the time zone label. The event is created in the visitor's own calendar time zone, so “7PM ET” becomes 7 PM wherever they are. Keep that in mind if your audience is spread across time zones.
  • The Google button uses the time of the first day you stream (counting from Mon) for all days. The Apple file keeps each day's own time.
  • The Stream schedule can't be placed inside a group. It always sits on its own in your list.

Turn on the Live now banner

  1. In the sidebar, click Link in Bio.
  2. On the Links tab, find the Live now banner row (“Embeds your live stream on your page whenever you're streaming.”) and switch it on.
  3. In Twitch channel, type your Twitch username or a twitch.tv link. The hint reads “Your Twitch username or twitch.tv link”.
  4. In Kick channel, type your Kick username or a kick.com link. The hint reads “Your Kick username or kick.com link”. If you stream on both platforms, fill in both.
  5. Click Publish changes.

You need at least one of the two channels. If both fields are empty, a red message under them says you must have at least a Twitch or Kick link entered for the live now embed to work.

How the banner shows on your page

The banner appears on your page only while you're actually live. When you're offline, visitors don't see it.

The editor's preview is different. It shows the banner all the time so you can see how it looks, and a notice in the banner settings tells you so. Don't worry if you see it in the preview while you're offline.

When you're live, visitors see a player right on your page, with a LIVE badge, your stream's title, the game and when it started, and a button with the viewer count that opens your stream.

If you're live on one platform, the label above the player reads Live now. If you're live on both Twitch and Kick at the same time, the label reads Watch Live and visitors get Twitch and Kick buttons to switch between the two players.

Troubleshooting

My schedule isn't on my page

Switch on at least one day in the schedule editor, then click Publish changes. A schedule with every day off stays hidden.

A day shows Off even though I switched it on

The day has no time. Open the schedule editor and type a time next to it.

The banner shows in the preview but not on my page

That's expected while you're offline. The page shows the banner only when you're live. Make sure you published your changes and that your channel is entered correctly.

I see a red message under the channel fields

Enter your Twitch channel, your Kick channel, or both. The live embed needs at least one.
