Once your media kit is built, you can download it as an image to send to brands, or show it on your Link in Bio page where visitors can open it full size. Use this guide when your kit is ready to share, or when you've changed it and want your page to match.

Note

Available on the Creator and Business plans.

Before you start

Download your kit as a PNG

Use the PNG when you want to attach the kit to an email or send it to a brand directly.

  1. In the sidebar, click Media Kit.
  2. At the top of the page, click Download PNG.
  3. Wait while the button reads Rendering…. When the file is ready, the message "Your media kit PNG is downloading." appears and your browser saves the image.

The PNG always shows your kit as it is right now.

Showing the kit on your page takes two parts: creating the page image, then adding the Media Kit element to your page.

Update the page image

  1. On the Media Kit page, click Update page image.
  2. Wait while the button reads Updating…. When it finishes, the message "Your link-in-bio page now shows this image." appears.

This also turns on the switch at the top of the page, labeled Show the media kit image on my link-in-bio page. Its status line reads Shown on your link-in-bio page when the switch is on and Not on your link-in-bio page when it's off. You can turn the switch on or off yourself at any time.

Below the status line, Pinned shows when your page image was last made. Until you've made one, it reads "No page image yet — update it to show the kit on your page".

Add the Media Kit element

  1. In the sidebar, click Link in Bio.
  2. On the Links tab, click Add.
  3. In the list, pick Media Kit. You can find it under Contact. For more on the Add menu, see Add elements to your page.
  4. On the Media Kit row, click the pencil icon to open its settings.
  5. Optionally, change the heading. The hint in the field reads "Heading (defaults to “Media kit”)".
  6. Optionally, change the caption shown under the image. The hint in the field starts with "Caption" and says it defaults to your name followed by ’s media kit.
  7. Drag the row to where you want it on your page.
  8. Click Publish changes to put it on your live page.

The settings also include a link to the Media Kit builder, in case you need to go back and edit the kit.

What visitors see

Visitors see your kit image with its heading and caption. Clicking it opens the image full size in a new tab, and the card shows Open full size.

The image appears on your live page only when all of these are true:

  • You've clicked Update page image at least once.
  • The switch for showing the image on your page is on.
  • Your plan is Creator or Business.

In the editor's preview, the element stays visible even before you've made a page image. It shows a placeholder that reads "Export your media kit in the Media Kit builder to show the image here."

Take the kit off your page

On the Media Kit page, turn off the switch labeled Show the media kit image on my link-in-bio page. The image disappears from your live page. Your kit and the element in your editor stay as they are.

Keep your page image current

Your page shows the image from your last update, not your latest edits. After you change the kit, the status line adds "edited since, update it".

  1. On the Media Kit page, click Update page image again.
  2. Check that the status line shows the new date and the note is gone.

Numbers you pull in from connected accounts refresh each time you open the Media Kit page. If any of them changed, the kit counts as edited and the note appears. The page image keeps the numbers from the moment you made it, so update it after you open the page to pick up newer figures.

Tips

  • Download a PNG after each big change so the copy you email matches the kit on your page.
  • If your paid plan ends, the image comes off your page, but your kit isn't deleted. It returns when you're back on the Creator or Business plan. See Choose a plan and upgrade.

Troubleshooting

The image doesn't show on my live page

Check that the switch on the Media Kit page is on, that you've clicked Update page image, that you've added the Media Kit element in the Link in Bio editor, and that you've clicked Publish changes. Your plan must be Creator or Business.

I see "Pinned can't be reached right now, so your page image can't be updated yet. Try again in a moment."

Pinned can't save the page image at the moment. Wait a moment and click Update page image again.

I see "The image is too large to store. Remove a photo or two and try again."

Your kit has too many or too large images. Remove a photo from the Audience section or a brand logo, then click Update page image again.

I see "The kit took too long to render. Try again." or "The kit could not be rendered. Try again."

Wait a moment and click the button again. If it keeps happening, contact support@pinned.gg.
